Use the East Service Street entrance for easier access. Across from the CHOP Buerger Building, in the middle of the street. Use the revolving door. Starbucks is on the corner.

There are 2 entrances to the Smilow Center.

Public Transportation

The following transit lines have routes that pass near the Roberts Center.

• Bus: 12, 30, 40, 7

• Train: Penn Medicine University City Station. If you take the train to 30th St, you can switch trains to ride directly to this station. Walk across to Civic Center Blvd, Smilow is located to the left next to the Perelman Center. 

• Subway: MFL

• Light Rail - 33rd St Trolley Station

 

Discounted Parking under the Buerger and Colket buildings at 3501 Civic Center Blvd. (only available for purchase until 9/27/2023 at 5:00 PM)

If you purchased the $10 discount parking by the deadline, you will be able to park under the Colket/Buerger Building(Garage B). There are two entrances to the parking garage. When traveling east on Civic Center Boulevard, pass the Main Hospital, then turn left into Driveway B for Garage B. A rear entrance, located on Health Sciences Drive, is also open Monday through Friday from 6am to 10pm. Get directions to the rear entrance. The underground parking lot connects both buildings. After parking, exit the building using the elevators at the center of the garage. The elevators will take you to the lobby of the Buerger Building, exit the lobby and turn right on Civic Center Blvd. You will cross East Service Street. You will see the entrance to the Smilow Center in the middle of East Service Street across from the side of the Buerger Building. Take the escalator the first level and you will see conference registration. 

 

·Take a ticket when entering the CHOP lot. You will need this ticket to leave the parking area after the conference.

·Pick up your parking pass from the Registration Desk. 

·Upon exiting, Scan the original ticket at the kiosk on the lower level of the Garage B elevator bank (Take the elevators in the Buerger Building to the parking garage).

·The Parking Pass acts as a chaser ticket. After scanning the original ticket, you then scan the Parking Pass. It will show $0.00 and Paid. 

· Use the original ticket to exit the lot.

Driving Directions  These directions are the same for Smilow Center as it is located directly across from CHOP's main hospital.

Please allow for extra travel time due to traffic congestion caused by multiple construction projects around CHOP and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
